THE KOOTZNOOWOO CULTURAL & EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 

The Kootznoowoo Cultural and Educational Foundation (KCEF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was established in April 2014.  It is funded entirely by generous donations by Kootznoowoo, Inc. KCEF is a demonstration of the corporation and Board of Director’s commitment to providing educational and vocational support to Kootznoowoo shareholders and descendants pursuing their educational goals through higher education or vocational training. 

KCEF is overseen by a three-member Board of Directors comprised of shareholders that are appointed by the Kootznoowoo corporate Board.

FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICANTS
MUST BE:

A Kootznoowoo shareholder or descendant

R

Alaska Native

R

Enrolled full time in a college or vocational program

R

Have at least a 2.0 GPA

Kootz Commercial Center Maintenance Manager

Chico serves as a jack-of-all-trades for the corporation. His main responsibility is overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the K-Plaza building. However, he provides additional support when needed on a variety of projects. He is based in Juneau.
